MimiSpruce Ridge Mimi is our multiple-champion dark fawn alpaca with the sweetest disposition and the most scrumptious fleece. When Mimi won her first Championship at the North American Alpaca Show in 2007, Judge Jude Anderson said of her fleece: “It’s fine, it’s dense, it’s very, very even. The character is very even throughout. It opens up beautifully. It’s very bright.” Her first cria, Trixie, has already won 2nd place at her first major show — the Northeast Alpaca Expo — in 2009. We are very fortunate and pleased to have Mimi as an exceptional member of our foundation herd.

Berkshire QueenQueenie has the special distinction of being the first alpaca born on our farm! She is a true black beauty with very nice conformation and super fine fleece. She placed 6th at both the 2009 Northeast Alpaca Expo and the 2009 North American Alpaca Show; and 3rd place at the 2009 New England Coastal Classic.

Sweet Brook’s TrixieTrixie is our Halloween surprise and Mimi’s first cria. She is a light fawn beauty who has already won 2nd place at the Northeast Alpaca Expo in 2009; 1st Place at the Green Mountain Fall Spectacular 2009; and color Championship at the New England Coastal Classic. She has spectacular lineage — her sire being undefeated multiple champion El Duro’s Principio and her dam, multiple champion Spruce Ridge Mimi. Her fleece is like her parents’: consistent, crimpy, bright, and dense! Jude Anderson, International Alpaca Judge, described her as a “fiber-producing machine” with her spectacular staple length. We’re so excited to see the potential in Trixie!
